You are welcome to bring in your pottery for a firing service at my studio in Neu-Ulm!

Kiln Dimensions

The inside of the 50L kiln measures

40 cm wide

35 cm tall

Firing Temperature

900°C - Bisque Fire

1240°C - Glaze Fire

I will require you to prove the firing temperature of your clay & glaze before firing to not damage the kiln. If your wares damage the kiln due to incorrect materials, you will be responsible for the repairs.

I am happy to consult you on materials to purchase or sell you clay.

Cost

5e/piece, so long as it is smaller than 20 cm in any direction.

This price includes both firings.

To rent to full kiln or fire something larger than 20cm, please inquire and I will send a quote. If you rent the whole kiln you may choose the firing temperature.

Glazes

I recommend you purchase paint-on glazes to help with the transport of your wares. I am happy to consult you on what materials to purchase.

If you have taken a glazing class with me, you may use my glazes.
